Common Questions

A Few Quiet Answers

What kind of tea does Tea Passage focus on?

Modern Chinese loose-leaf tea curated for quieter moments. We work with small farms across China to source single-origin oolong, green, white, black, and Pu-erh teas — each selected for character and the experience it creates in the cup.

What is oolong tea?

Oolong tea is a partially oxidized Chinese tea that sits between green and black tea. Its flavor range is extraordinarily wide — from bright and floral to deep and roasted — with each infusion revealing a different layer of complexity. Explore our oolong collection →

How to brew green tea?

Use water at 80°C — never boiling — with 3g of leaf per cup. Steep for 1–2 minutes. The key is temperature control: too hot extracts bitterness, while the right temperature brings out the tea's natural sweetness and freshness. More brewing notes →
